At Singletrack ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application ("App") and website ("Service").

1.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, password, and profile photo.
- Waitlist Information: If you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your email address to notify you about our launch and updates.
- User Content: We collect content you create, such as ride titles, descriptions, photos, comments on rides, and other interactions within the community features.
- Communications: If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you, such as the contents of your messages and any attachments you may send us.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Location and Sensor Data: The core functionality of Singletrack requires collecting precise location data (GPS) and sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer) from your device while you are recording a ride. This data is used to map your rides, calculate statistics (speed, elevation, airtime), and generate leaderboards. We collect this data only when you initiate a ride recording.
- Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including the hardware model, operating system and version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Information: We collect information about your interactions with our Service, such as the features you use and the time you spend on the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our Service;
- Process and complete transactions, and send you related information;
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests and provide customer service;
- Communicate with you about products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events offered by Singletrack;
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Service;
- Personalize and improve the Service and provide content or features that match user profiles or interests;
- Facilitate contests, sweepstakes, and promotions and process and deliver entries and rewards; and
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of Singletrack and others.

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:
- With other users: Information about your rides (route, stats, photos) and your profile information will be visible to other users of the Service according to your privacy settings. Public rides act as contributions to the community map and leaderboards.
- With vendors, consultants, and other service providers: We use third-party services such as Supabase (for database and authentication) who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf.
- In response to legal process: We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process.
- With your consent: We may share information about you with your consent or at your direction.
4. Data Retention
We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.
5. Your Choices
Account Information
You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by logging into your online account or by emailing us at thomas.myrsethb@outlook.com. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please email us, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Location Information
You can stop the collection of location information at any time by denying the App access to location services in your device settings. However, note that this will disable the core ride tracking functionality of the App.
